Project overview

Flesk Electrical delivered the full electrical and low:voltage package for the Munster Rugby Centre of Excellence at Musgrave Park, Cork. The scope covered MV/LV distribution, pitch and training:zone lighting, life:safety systems, ICT and AV infrastructure, and energy monitoring : all designed to meet elite high:performance training requirements while minimising whole:life energy costs.

Working within an active stadium environment, we sequenced works to maintain venue operations, coordinated with structural and M&E packages, and handed over fully verified systems on time, complete with digital O&M and as:built documentation.

  • LED pitch & training:area lighting with DALI/DMX control & scenes
  • Emergency lighting, fire alarm, disabled refuge & PA/VA integration

Results delivered

The project aligns with Munster Rugby’s decarbonisation and sustainability strategy. Through high:efficiency LED systems, intelligent lighting controls and integrated energy monitoring, the facility achieves significantly lower operational energy intensity while supporting athlete performance and minimising whole:life cost.
