Project overview

Flesk Electrical acted as main contractor and PSCS for a full LED DALI lighting upgrade at the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport & Media headquarters.

The project replaced all internal luminaires with high:efficiency LED DALI fittings and introduced a new control strategy using DALI modules, retractable switches and combined PIR/photocell detectors. Emergency lighting was upgraded in line with current standards.

Works were phased on a zone:by:zone basis in a live office environment, with daily and weekly programmes agreed with the Department team. Flesk also took responsibility for builders’ works, making good, painting, decorating and new access hatches, and delivered full testing, commissioning and certification to IS 3217 and I.S.10101.
